Mark entered the telecommunications equipment business in 1983 as a sales representative for Jarvis Corporation, a regional interconnect headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. After a series of spinoffs and acquisitions, Mark became Vice-President of Sales for the direct distribution channel of the newly-formed Executone Information Systems.

In 1996 Mark joined BellSouth as Vice-President of Sales for its equipment subsidiary, BellSouth Communications Systems (BCS). Mark’s next venture involved a .com startup in 2000 before joining DATACOM Warranty Corporation in 2002.

Mark has been a student of consultative sales and sales management since his career started at Jarvis. Mark’s approach to sales centers on the philosophy that a differentiated market position is better than competing in price wars. After all, when you offer something no one else can match, you have eliminated your competition.

Mark’s philosophy has helped DATACOM Warranty Corporation to sharpen its focus to become a more strategic partner to its network of Select Dealers™.
